1. Introduction

Welcome to Matt Dean Photography. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website Matt Dean Photography.co.uk and services provided by Matt Dean Photography, a UK-based wedding photography business. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the package cost is required to secure your wedding date.

  • The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the wedding date.

  • If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If you cancel your booking more than 12 weeks before the wedding, only the deposit is forfeited.

  • Cancellations within 4 weeks of the wedding may result in full charges.

  • If we are unable to attend due to illness or emergency, we will do our utmost to find a suitable replacement photographer or offer a full refund.

4. Image Delivery

  • Final images will be delivered within 8-10 weeks after your wedding date, via an online gallery or agreed-upon method.

  • All images are edited at our discretion and delivered as high-resolution JPEGs.

  • RAW files are not available for release.

5. Usage Rights & Copyright

  • Copyright remains with the photographer.

  • You are granted personal usage rights to print and share your images for personal use.

  • Commercial use, resale, or publication requires written permission.

  • We reserve the right to use images for marketing, website, social media, and portfolio purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Liability

  • We take the utmost care in providing high-quality images and handling all equipment professionally.

  • In the unlikely event of technical failure, theft, or other unforeseen circumstances, our liability is limited to a full refund.

  • We are not responsible for missed shots due to interference from guests or venue restrictions.

7. Privacy

  • We respect your privacy. Personal data collected during booking is used solely for communication and fulfilling your photography package.

  • We will never sell or distribute your information to third parties.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate UK courts.
